I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. I ordered takeout - pork egg-roll, shrimp toast, and beef lo mein. I didn't much care for the egg-roll - not that it was bad, I've just had better. That said, the shrimp toast is amazing and the lo mein is really good. Lots of very tender beef and the flavor is good. I wish I lived locally, they would always get my business when I wanted Chinese food.
I used to frequent this place a lot, given that it is one of the only Chinese places in town and it was pretty cheap to get a lot of different food to-go. Over the years the prices have increased for carry-out and not sure if the price matches the quality of the food.
This place has pretty good food and the service is quick and friendly. However, the buffet can be hit-or-miss. While the food is good, a lot of times the popular dishes will run out quickly and they may never be refilled for quite a while. I've sat 15 or 20 minutes waiting for a particular item, to be disappointed because it was never restocked. If you want to avoid this, just order take-out. Once again, the food tastes pretty good.
It's just OK Chinese food. We almost always get the buffet. I like their lo mein -- it has a smoky, savory flavor. And I like their potatoes. My wife likes their sea food, which is a good value for the $, and she likes the spicy Ma Po Tofu.
There are times when they don't refill the items in the buffet frequently enough. And don't go here for the ambience. It's a dingy place with cheap, rickety tables and chairs, and it could be cleaner.
The food was way way wayyyyy over cooked. My aunt found plastic in her food. Your employees were so unaware of their buffet that even the "fresh" oranges were old and tasted like bleach.
